STORY: It seemed like a normal visit...

Once upon a time, your fellow blogger was visiting a two friends at one friend's house. Your blogger arrived later on, and when she did arrive they all got something to drink. Root beer. While waiting for the hostess to open root beers, she joked around that the root beer was actual beer and pretended to be an alcoholic like Haymitch from the Hunger Games (If you don't know the books, just think about crazy people who get arrested on New Years for drinking too much)! They all made a cheers, and took a gulp from their bottles. It just so happened, Hanpanda's root beer was bitter! She thought, "Why is this bitter?" when suddenly the hostess said "That's beer!" there were jokes about the joking with beer, and your blogger's beer was replaced with root beer.
                                THE END

Happy New Year's Eve!

Yay! It's that time of year, when it's almost New Year! You know what's even better? When it's New Years!
Oh the semester shall change! There shall be less French!

So much for vacation...

So much for vacation. What happened to no homework? Even my cousin in HIgh School doesn't have any homework! We, my class, have to memorize a text and recite it with emotions! Even better, it's in French! Then read an English book, then do 4 projects (i.e. poems; parody; illustration) on parts of the book. Gah! Then do 2 hours of Chinese audio listening! This is not the meaning of vacation! Then I have a deadline due for a story, need to continue for a school newspaper, and one for another girl to review!

GAH

Hello everyone! This is great! *sigh* Nevermind. Nothing is very "great" today. Can boredum become a disease!?!?!?!?!? If it is, I am diagnosed with it and NEED A CURE! Only the power of games, fun, friends, and other things may cure this. BUT HOW TO MAKE IT IN TO ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, OK. I'm better now. NOT REALLY, BUT BETTER.

Hullo (I'm so bored, I'm going to blog differently today, and this is a fake post)

Hullo you lot! It's a giddy good day in not so sunny Bath (not) here today. What a fine time I'm having today, stuck in my flat (not) going bonkers! I've seem to have heard that you Americans *wounded sniff* drive on the wrong side of the road. How bonkers is that, you lot!? I do say, it is quiet fine though, the tea cup in my hand, parasol in other, I venture out to the fish & chips shop down by the block. Delicious if I do say so myself. Of course I did go get some crisps and squash later, evil me! Of course, eating crisps and squash made me go a little bonkers... After all that, I walked over with my chum Ellie (fake) to Sallie Lunn's. The bath buns, I'd go bonkers for! P.S. Sallie Lunn's is real!
Anyways, we took a double-decker for the fun of it, to see those tourists go bonkers on our landmarks. Bonkers! We got a pass for a day, can you believe it? Good thing I brought fish & chips, and Ellie brought a large bag of crisps and two cans of brown squash! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMm!
Wow, that was bonkers!
I guess I like the word bonkers, sometimes being bonkers... Nevermind that you Americans who call the tube a "subway"
Farewell!

sigh...

Hi guys! What's up! Me? Nothing... amazing right? The only thing sort of interesting was the fact that there was a long piece of hair in my tuna sandwich from a market (not going to say which one, but it's a big one so don't go on making assumptions) that got in my throat! When I told a friend who wasn't there at the scene, another friend said "We're eating!" then I said "Yeah well I was eating too, but that didn't stop the hair." she was quiet after. Amazing correctemundo? Sigh, I guess the hair was pretty excited to see the inside of a trash can... and my throat... and the tuna sandwich...

Chinese!

Hi viewers! I've been trying to keep my age discreet, and I still am. But I'm pretty sure you now know I'm a kid. Well hurray for all the stalkers and kidnappers, right? Oh well, so anyways I'm still going to keep my age discreet though. So today was my first day in chinese. Hurray right? Sort of... Our teacher is somewhat strict, but you always learn very well from strict teachers though... right? So anyways today, we only do simplified mandarin, we got to class and got 2 more books. It sounds like nothing right? Oh yeah, did I mention that we don't have lockers yet either because the school's lockers are going to come next week. Hurray, right? WRONGO! Anyways, when we were in Chinese... nearby the end he started saying how he knew people were talking about how he was strict and all. And I think this is bad... but I agree... See you next time,
Hanpanda

The movie

Hi again. Have any of you heard of the Hunger Games? Are any of you a fan of it? I'm sure you're all aware it's going to be a movie, right? What do you guys think of it? Are you excited to see your favorite characters come alive? Or are you afraid they're going to mess the whole book up. What do you guys think of the actors and actresses potraying them? Personally I'm really hoping they don't mess the book up, it would defitnitely make me mad. What about you?

Back

Do you guys have boring days? I am experiencing so many, on top of that I lost my library card! I don't like talking to the librarians because one time they were like "Oh you have so many overdo books" I don't like it when they "go like that"! I do my best and just avoid them and use the self check-out. Much better.

Battle Royale

Hi you guys! Are you Hunger Games lovers? Ever heard of Battle Royale? Battle Royale is a novel published in 1999 by Koushun Takami in Japanese. It has also been made in to a movie, and a manga series. The summary of the story is about a group of students from a school named Shiroiwa Junior High School (Shiroiwa an imaginary Japenese town in the Kagawa Prefecture) on a "study trip" lured on to a bus that is later intoxicated by dangerous gasses. They later woke up in Okishima Island school located on the isolated and evacuated island of Okishima southwest of Shodoshima (also in the Kagawa Prefecture). They learn about a military research project called the "Program". It was made to terrorize the people in order to prevent any uprisings. Apparently they've been doing this since the year 1947, and has 42 High School juniors isolated on an island on a fight to death. The last student alive wins. They wear metal collars around their necks which tracks their movement, and contains listening and tracking devices. If any students tries to escape the Program or goes to a forbidden area, a bomb inside the collar will discharge ultimately killing the wearer. If no one dies within 24 hours, all the collars will be discharged killing all the students.
Well here's Battle Royale, I've never read it myself and actually a friend of mine has told me that Battle Royale is much more violent than the Hunger Games. For those of you who've read Battle Royale, please leave a comment about it.

The Hunger Games

For those of you Hunger Games lovers, did you know there's going to be movie? The thing is that, are they going to mess it up like the Percy Jackson movie? I'm not sure, one thing I know it's probably going to be very intense. Another thing is that it's going to be 4 movies instead of 3. You know the actors dyed their hair so that it'll look like the characters. I love the Hunger Games, and Suzanne Collins has wrote other books too. Gregor the Overlander series for ages 9-12 and When Charlie Mcbutton Lost Power. How do you feel about them coming up with a Hunger Games movie? Post your comments,
see ya

Books

Hi people, I just love books. Do you? One of the things I like to do is curl up in bed with an exciting book. Any of you ever read the Hunger Games? I love it! I used to love the Percy Jackson too, only now it's not my favorite anymore. I feel sad about Borders closing down, I always got coupons and I just loved to browse the selection of books. Post your favorite books in the comments. See you soon,
Hanpanda

Camp Half-Blood!

About a week or two ago I got home from Texas. I went to, Camp Half-Blood since I won a... sweepstakes! It was amazingly neat and I got to do archery, I was bad but I loved it anyways! I was hoping to be a daughter of Poseidon or Athena, instead I got... Zeus! It was neat but I didn't mingle with the two Zeus kids there. I didn't like them, what could I say? There was a counselor from Zeus, he was nice. I would look longingly at the Athena cabin though since they had so many people. They were nice, and they were oh wait... girls! The only Zeus people there were boys, great huh? I mostly hung out with the other winners. Mostly one of them, she was a daughter of Hecate. We didn't talk much but we'd sit together. The counselors were all nice, and camp was fun. Too bad I was only there for 1 and a half days. The other winners was an Athena girl, a Poseidon, a Hermes, a Hades, and I forgot the last one. The thing was that the Hades kid reminded me of Nico, the Poseidon a bit like Percy. Do I think I'm like Thalia? I wish, or I hope. It was amazing, and they even created Mythomagic!
What do you guys think? There are three branches of Camp Half-Blood. One in Austin Texas, one in Brooklyn New York, New York, and one in Decatur Georgia! The original one is from Austin and they helped create the others. You know the Camp Half-Blood director in Austin knows Rick Riordan? Neat huh? See you on another post!

New!

This is BlackPanda speaking, this is a blog (for some of those who wouldn't know for some reason) ta da! Amazing right!? Of course it is! Who doesn't love pandas?
